ABC Breaking News | Latest News Videos

Muskegon County’s Bravest get another well deserved notch in their rescue belts after being called to the edge of frosty White Lake in the town of Whitehall, MI, where a dog had fallen through the ice.

The rescuers came in to help staffers of Muskegon County Animal Control, who were ill-equipped to handle the situation but desperate to save the dog.

Donning the proper safety gear, three firefighters with the White Lake Fire Authority linked together to pull the dog nearly 100 yards to shore.
