Firefighters came to the rescue of a puppy in St. Louis after it fell into a drainage pipe that was not covered properly.
The puppy’s owner was walking the puppy and another dog around 9 a.m. on Sunday morning when the puppy fell into a drainage pipe on the sidewalk. The pipe had not been covered properly and the puppy fell 26 feet to the bottom.
Firefighters were called to the scene to help. The pipe was only a foot-wide so the firefighters lowered a noose down the pipe and hooked it around the puppy’s body to pull it safely out of the pipe.
The puppy was uninjured and able to go home with its owner.
