Gregory the Puppy Brings Great Joy to Seniors

A puppy can elicit a smile from just about anyone, not to mention make someone’s day and Gregory, a puppy from the Bidawee Adoption Center  is no exception. He came to visit some older adults at the Hudson Guild Senior Center to bring some love and smiles to the folks who come attend the different programs available to them.

It’s all a part of Bidewee’s __pet therapy program, outreach for young and old alike, to spread cheer.  The interactions provided by the animals involved in this program are critical to many who may not have contact with the outside world. The snuggles and smiles they bring provide a myriad of emotional and medical benefits to those with whom they visit. From visiting nursing homes and hospitals to their Reading to Dogs Program, the animals of Bidewee, like Gregory, are a pure example of unconditional love.
