When one particular woman met a particular __dog named Walter at the Pasadena Humane Society and SPCA, she knew the puppy was meant to be part of her family. The puppy snuggled into her and smelled her neck just like her daughter Julia had done when she was born.
You see, both Walter and Julia are deaf — but that doesn't hold them back one bit.
Now the pair are best friends. Walter hangs on his buddy while she does her homework. Then the two of them play ball and have fun. Julia is even teaching her canine BFF sign language.
"I love Walter," says Julia. "Walter is my best friend."
It's a sweet reminder that there's a perfect match for everyone.
